‘Blue Chip’ was developed at the Raulston Arboretum in North Carolina. 'Blue Chip' plants grow in manageable, well-branched mounds to only 2' tall and feature intense blue flowers in spike-like terminal and axillary clusters. Flowers bloom continuously from June to first frost. Flowers are fragrant, and are a butterfly magnet.
